A Blur New Year

Gotta blog now, before my unstable internet connection deteriorates.

I didn't plan on doing anything this three-week holidays. It's supposed to be study break but um... Lazy lah! :P

The last two weeks of 2006 was mostly spent on completing the surprisingly short game of Final Fantasy XII, amid my parents' nagging. I watched the ending at 10pm, 2 hours before the countdown to the new year of 2007. Okay, if you don't know already, I have an addictive personality when it comes to games. When I started playing a game, I'd stop at nothing to get to the end of it as soon as possible. Aparrently there's no such thing as moderation for me. It's either Don't Play or Play Until I Die. For this FFXII, there was once when I slept after dinner, woke up at 2am and played until 12 in the afternoon the next day. I tend to immerse myself in the game, "zombifying" myself in the process.

Right after I'm done with the game, I went out with some friends for a countdown near my house where we can see the KLCC twin towers afar to see some fireworks. Much to our dismay, the fireworks didn't shoot as high as last year and were obstucted by the buildings surrounding it. I was shocked to know that my friends planned to spend the whole night awake after the countdown but I tagged along. We chit-chatted, went to cyber cafes, and played until 5.30am in the morning. We played Battlefield 2 and expectedly I sucked. (You can't expect a blur guy to excel in shooting games.)

I only had 3 hours of sleep before attending a bloggers "gay-thering" this Monday. Many thanks to David for organizing this. Due to lack of sleep, I actually became energized temporarily thoughout the gaythering. If I'd sleep more I'd be like Mrbunnyban who got weary at the end of our lunch. I left the party at around 5pm. David guided me on which platform to take, fully aware that I may take the wrong train like the previous time.

I bought the monorail ticket, inserted it into the machine, walked in and took the ticket out.

"I was pretty quiet during the gathering but I guess that's just me. Hopefully they don't mind, I also wish I could be talkative like defiant" The thought ran through my mind as I walked.

I inserted the card into the machine, walked out and "eh?" the ticket didn't come out. After 5 seconds, I realized that I've just walked in and out of the train station, and I had to buy the ticket again.

I spent the next day(Tuesday) sleeping like a pig and now I'm awake blogging as I discovered that I can access the blogger.

I'm looking forward to what's in store for me in this brand new year, whether it's good or bad, whether I myself will change for the better or worse.

Happy New Year! :)

p/s: OMG, the Internet's getting better! I can download porn!

I can download one porn clip coz there were malaysians seeding. hehe

William: This is not the first time, although this time is done unconciously. Heh, there was twice when i went into the wrong platform of the Bank Negara station, so embarrased, had to walk out again and buy another ticket.
